Batch Processing

You can issue several commands in one go. Just perform the following two steps:

  • Separate the commands by colons {:}
  • Enclose all the commands inside curly brackets.

For example you can paste the following block of commands (including the curly brackets) in Math Processor and press Enter to execute them in the order they appear:

{
    a = vector (0, 0.05, 2*pi); :
    b = tan (a); :
    plot (a,b, red):
}

Loading commands from disk

Instead of typing or pasting a block of commands every time, you can also save your block of commands in a text file. You can then use the load directive or click the "Run - Load File" menu of MP to execute the commands in the file.
